A Little Background History
Having started my working life nearly 40 years ago as a commercial artist / illustrator, the world, for me, really has come full circle.
In 2019, a global pandemic resulting in national lockdown found me painting and drawing again after a break of 22 years! Through my artistic life I always gained inspiration from the Italian Renaissance and its artists, and, finding myself in these circumstances, they became my Renaissance , my re-birth – and so Sentio Fine Art was born.
I believe good art is personal, its stimulates and initiates thoughts and feelings. When I look at a piece of artwork it creates a cascading narrative in my mind. I remember people, places, situations and feelings. I relive events and invent the scenarios of what might have been. It surrenders my imagination to a journey that inevitably more often than not, makes me smile.
