I can hear all those dissenting voices saying “I have real trouble drawing a stick man!!”.
To me the creation of art is simple. It’s an idea followed by the physical execution to visualise that idea. You might say it’s a mechanical process. Just like learning to ride a bike or playing a musical instrument. The truth is that the more you practice the easy it becomes – train the hand train the mind!
Oh yeah, and let’s not forget the benefits to stress relief well-being that it provides.
This year I am hoping to start a number of classes and workshops in the locally to help those aspiring artists bring out, or just refine, those hidden skills. Everyone is welcome whether you are a true beginner with a desire to broaden your horizons, or a seasoned veteran looking for like minded company.
